The function will return the cheapest or most expensive gas station, as required. Therefore, it is essential to narrow the search based on the country and distance. To achieve this, we utilize GPS data that enables us to properly classify and filter the available options.

It would not make sense to return the cheapest station located in Portugal if the user is in France or Germany. It is essential to have, at a minimum, the information regarding the country where the search is to be conducted in order to provide relevant and useful results.
