Service Stations on a Route: An Essential Haven for Travelers' Service stations along a route are more than just simple stops for refueling; they are genuine oases for travelers on the road. These facilities play a crucial role, offering not only the possibility to fill up the fuel tank of vehicles but also a wide range of services that ensure a more enjoyable and safe travel experience. Firstly, the convenience of service stations is undeniable. Strategically located on roads and highways, they allow drivers to refuel without having to deviate from their route. Moreover, many of these stations are equipped with modern fuel pumps that facilitate the refueling process, thereby reducing waiting time. In addition to fuel, many service stations offer complementary services such as convenience stores, where travelers can find a variety of food and beverages to replenish energy during the trip. Some places even feature restaurants and cafes, allowing for a hot meal or a comforting coffee before continuing the journey. Another fundamental aspect is the availability of clean and well-maintained restrooms, essential for any traveler on the road, especially during long trips. This not only enhances travel comfort but also contributes to the health and well-being of those on the highway. Furthermore, many service stations offer additional services such as the sale of automotive products, air and water stations, and charging stations for electric vehicles, adapting to the needs of a constantly evolving world. These services are essential to ensure that drivers can continue their journeys without inconveniences. Finally, service stations also become meeting points for other travelers, allowing for the exchange of experiences and recommendations about the route. These human interactions enrich the travel experience, creating a sense of community on the road. In summary, service stations along a route are vital elements that contribute not only to the smooth progression of journeys but also to the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of those traveling the highways. Undoubtedly, they are stops that offer much more than fuel; they are true allies for any traveler.
GET/map/station/route
The function will return the exact locations and detailed information of the nearest gas stations along the route between the origin and the destination. To calculate these positions, the same algorithm used for route requests (/route) is employed, which means that the response time will be at least equivalent to the time required to obtain the route.
Additionally, the departure and arrival time parameters are taken into account to determine if the stations will be open during the journey. This way, the inclusion of stations that are not available during the trip is avoided, ensuring a more efficient and convenient experience for the user.
